"Just bought my 5th and 6th pair of Blundstones. This time I got the Dress Ankle Boots in chestnut brown and black. These models are an exclusive to Australia Boot Co., I believe. In addition to casual wear, I’ll probably wear them with suit. Very impressed. Excellent value for the money. Highly recommended if you want to up your boot game a couple of notches."

Pros: 1. The boot build
"Pros: 1. The boot build quality and dress design is well done. I usually buy Frye's but decided to see what Blundstone could do for dress (I have a pair for casual and yard work). 2. Comfortable as soon as I put them on. One small blister after walking for an hour in the city, but that's really good with new boots. My feet usually ache afterwards. 3. Easy to put on. I've had Blundstones initially hard to put on during the break-in period. 4. The leather and colour finish is very well done. Cons: 1. Where the soul meets the boot could have had some stitching for style. The glue gives the finish a cheaper look. 2. The Chestnut colour is a combination of maroon and brown. It's still nice, but was looking for a truer brown or Cognac colour."

- when you manufacture your Blundstone boots why can you not have a sole that is sewn on ! and can be re-soled when worn out?? I got a pair back in 2000 for a birthday gift, and after 15 years of wear the soles worn out? I tried to have them resoled but was told that the NEW Sole would not stay of the bottom of the shoe.. It was about 2 month later and the soles fell off..was very disappointed , the Blundstones are / were the best pair of boots foot wear I had.!!!!11 In comparison I also bought a pair "Caterpillar Boots, - stock Number P 173349 which have a sewn on sole..Have only had then for 6-7years and when the SOLE falls off they CAN be resoled.. It would be great if Blundstone did the same to its new style of boots...Thanks

- Hello, No these boots do not have a non slip sole as they are meant to be a true dress boot and so they have a very low profile tread. They do still have a rubber sole so they will be slip resistant but if you are looking for something with more grip I would suggest any of our chisel toe models.
