- I just bought the classic rustic black. Can i use mink oil on the shoes?
- Hello, The rustic leathers are a brushed nap leather and mink oil can indefinitely flatten and darken this leather. It will not harm the leather, but if you intend to use mink oil we recommend testing on a small, inconspicuous spot of the boot to be sure you are happy with the result. If you would like to condition your boots but maintain the rustic look you can use the Blundstone renovating Cream in rustic which can be found on our website.
