- Hello, The 510 is the original series in a round toe style and has just one layer of leather so the inside is the natural rough out leather backing. - bought two different find of blundstone's can't tell you which style but they were both leather lined and had to return them because i found the ankle too stiff to get used to. Reading about the 500 boots they say they are not leather lined so wondering if the ankle area is softer and easier to break in. Can you tell me if this would be so. Does the leather lining make them stiffer at the ankle. i love the fit of the foot bed but the ankle part is bothersome. Thanks
- Hi there, I would not say that the 500 series boots are necessarily softer in the ankle or easier to break in but some people do find there is a slight difference in fit. I would suggest going to try some on in store and asking the sales rep for any fitting suggestions they might have for you.
